Max Deadroom, aka Max Lewis, is a Denver based music producer and audio engineer who has worked with hundreds of artists and bands on a wide variety of projects over the course of his two decades in the business.

Lewis co-owned and operated a professional recording studio in Columbus, OH in the late 00's. During that time he oversaw and/or participated in hundreds of recording sessions and with a wide variety of talent. Some notable clients include Talib Kewli, Walk the Moon, Crash Midnight, the Ohio State University Jazz Orchestra, and Smash Mouth. 

Lewis has since worked extensively as a live audio engineer in various music venues. He's been behind the mixing board for all types of events, including festivals with headliners such as the Ataris, The Sidekicks, Saintseneca, New Bomb Turks, Benny Golson and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, just to name a few.

He is also known for being one of the member's of Columbus, OH's groove-shaman's, Way Yes, with whom he toured extensively as well as engineered and mixed much of their music catalogue. Their most recent LP, 2017's 'Tuna Hair', was recently featured in an episode of Hulu's reboot of Nick Hornby's High Fidelity.

Lewis writes, records, produces and works out of his new hometown of Denver, CO as Max Deadroom. He currently plays shows to support his debut EP, 'Neighbors', as well as produces and engineers sessions at his home-studio, Deadroom Music & Multimedia.

Throughout all of this he has been a major teaching advocate, having created and instructed courses on tech literacy and music production in public school systems and metropolitan libraries since 2011.
